Schoolmate!?

Wow!! Carrie just told me that she is my schoolmate in secondary school. It really amazing! She just lower then me for one year. Because that she have transferred to another secondary school after F.2, I do not know her at that time. Wow!!! Interesting!!!

It is not a big deal that u find some schoolmate of ur secondary or primary school. And most of the time, coz of everybody growing up, it is hard to have a close friendship with them. But when a buddy (she is one of the best friends I got in the last job and we have work overnight for many times together even in different department) told u that she was ur schoolmate suddently, she got some same friends as u (I have repeat the F.5, so some of her friends were also my old classmate), her husband was also ur schoolmate. If she have not transfer to another school. If I have look clear when she show me her wedding photo. We should know that earlier.

She know that because she had a date with her friend, also my old classmatel, on last sunday. Before that we have a meal on sat and I give her my name card. She put my name card on the table during the date with her friend. Then one of my old classmate saw it and shout who know Roy Chan! Ho… The feeling is really very interesting ) As what mcmug always say, “The feeling is really good!” (感覺真好!)

Cisco 1000

Old news that big stick told me. But I really enjoy it very much. Interesting description:

A technological marvel of bionics and breeding, the Cisco 1000 is a Border Collie - Australian Shephard mix, conceived at a frisbee-dog competition, but with incredible bionic enhancements never before seen in a common housepet.

You will find thousands of uses for your Cisco 1000, including morale-boosting playtime that makes you and your dot-com co-workers feel just a little less like quitting. Our favorite game that the Cisco 1000 is programmed to play is called “butt-stick” where the operator uses a stick to try to tag the Cisco 1000 on its hind quarters, and the Cisco 1000 runs away! Much more fun than Tetris!

But the Cisco 1000 is more than just a companion. Its bionic implants are programmed to deafen any approaching stranger with its ear-piercing barks! If the stranger is perhaps already deaf, or just doesn’t know any better, the Cisco 1000 is programmed to jump and bite without warning. Now that’s what we call a guard dog! And if you want to shutdown the barking & biting program, don’t bother with the kill -9 on its terminal, just use the remote control shutdown mechanism (an empty tin of penguin mints, filled with pennies) and the program immediately ceases.

Interesting RFCs

Here is some interesting RFCs. Have u even think about IP over avian carriers? Sound like a joke. But it have been written as an RFCs 11 years ago (RFC 1149)and sound so serious that it got some futher RFC last year (RFC 2549). Last month, Bergen LUG even implement it.

More description can be found in:

even try to send data over space dusts . Athough this is neither an open protocol nor using IP, pretty interesting.

Many hackers like coffee, so we got Hyper Text Conffee Pot Control Protocol (RFC 2324).

Many people know spamming is the most annoying action on net. A new RFC (RFC 309 8) have released recently to educate those spammer. (Although, they will never read it.

The Y2K problem put many people in fears at 1999. Here we got an RFC talk (RFC 2550) about Y10K problem.

Have u heard Monkey typewriters theory before? Here is an RFC (RFC 2795) about it.

Another interesting RFCs, Roman Standards Process (RFC 2551) and Telnet Sublimital-message Option (RFC 1097).

Thirteen Days

今日同朋友走左去睇《驚天 13 日》 (Thirteen Days).. Ummm..
