今年九月，香港迪士尼樂園將正式開幕。香港人明顯對這件事非常重視，有關調查發現大部份人認為現時香港的吉祥物「老古董」過份古舊。自七年前出土後，經常曝曬於強光之下，令「老古董」多處開始退色變質。有關人員雖然已盡量減少讓「老古董」直接接觸陽光，但情況仍不斷惡化。近日更發現「老古董」的腳位有輕微龜裂現像，長期站立恐怕會很快折斷。但外加腳架則有礙觀瞻，有損香港國際大都會形像，亦對迪士尼不敬。經香港人多番向老天爺祈求，老天爺終於在今天答應將「老古董」帶返天庭受到一級天朝維修及保養。而代替「老古董」成為香港新吉祥物的則是喜愛打煲呔的老朋友「唐老鴨」(Donald Duck) 。普遍市民都對此表示歡迎，一來「老古董」可以受到一級照顧，二來「唐老鴨」陪伴全港市民由小玩到大，比「老古董」更有親切感。以「唐老鴨」作吉祥物，明顯可以表示香港人對迪士尼樂園的重視，亦標誌香港將正式進入迪士尼時代。加上「唐老鴨」一向較聰明幽默，對香港未來氣氛有較大幫助。然而，亦有人認為「唐老鴨」脾氣較差及較狡猾，會為香港帶來一點隱憂。

I would like to told you the story of a secret numen of a dot.com company. 1999 Dec, Dom bought several dolls as gifts to me and our colleages when he back from Silicon Valley. He give a black cat to Black. While the hair of the black cat is very soft and cute, Maddog Cheung and me like to play with the cat. The black cat move to the new dom com company as well as our whole department on 2000 Jan. When Black quit the company on March, she give it to Maddog Cheung. We have a pretty happy time with the black cat. And some of our vendors even saw the cat often on my shoulder at mid-night in the office before the 627 launch. When Maddog Cheung left the company on July, he passed the cat to me.

When I quit on 2001 Feb, I had a strong feeling that the black cat should stay in the company. Therefore, I passed it to Parry. It is interesting that I heard from carrie that Parry had passed the cat to Eric Goh when she left the company last year. The black cat had stay in the company for over 5 years now and being passed in 5 staffs. It seems that the black cat become a secret numen of the company. It’s sweet.
